Intervention Overview
FOCUS is one of the first mobile self-management interventions for people with serious mental illness. It is designed to provide support for the symptoms of schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses and help promote independence and recovery.

03. Other Training Recommendations
If you are viewing these training materials for the first time, as a part of the curriculum we recommend that you also engage in the following tasks or experiential exercises:
(1) The FOCUS Experience.
Carry FOCUS for one week, respond to each prompts as if you are the client participating in the FOCUS intervention. It can be a good idea during this time to practice mHealth support calls with your peer mHealth support specialist.
(2) Make your implementation list.
Begin generating a list of tasks you think could be related to a successful run of FOCUS. What will you need to ensure a successful implementation? What do you imagine might get in the way?
